Lude Generation

Im going to be fitting a set of parking sensors in the rear bumper on my neighbours 5th Gen tomorrow afternoon.
He says he is having trouble parking the lude as its such a long car and doesnt want to damage the rear bumper&lip
So ive bought a kit and just need to make sure i tap into power for the reverse light so would appreciate any help identifying which colour of wire it is - hopefully someone will know

Any help would be appreciated.

The red one always starts the bomb's countdown timer, so whatever you do, don't touch it.

I'd wait till I'm there and look see at the time. see which wire goes into the reverse light, get someone to put it in to reverse and pop a meter across it to confirm and there's your wire.

i dont have a meter but will see if i can get a hold of one


I found some info on the web and its a green wire with black stripe on 4th gen - its may be the same on 5th gens

Had a quick look and the 5th gen rear lights are very different to 4th gen where all the wiring goes through one connector- on the 5th it all individual wires sort of so easy to see what one i need to tap into

What about front ones
