as some of you may have known,i was having trouble with my 5th gen sir.......it basically wouldnt start after i had just drove it....lost the green key on dash!the aa came out to me and didnt have a clue....with it bein an sir import he really didnt hve a clue....ended up looking up a 2.0 auto non vtec!! ......anyways i stripped the dash and checked ecu n everything seemed fine,power to all fuses main relay etc but had no spark or fuel pump......i had an auto electrician cam out and informed me it was the immob packed in!!greeeat....then jozesfan(spelling????) at 4speed got in touch and what a great help.....after a few hours on the phone and email i brought off him an immob box,ign barrell and keys thinking this would solve it.....wrong!!!we were both baffled.....after 3 weeks of the road ma dad decided he knew some1 another auto electrician....me bein jubious thought....i got nothing else to loose n little money left.....we rang him,little did we know he was honda head technician for 14 years previous to him goin solo!!!! hesaid drop the car off thursday nyt andhe would have a look friday morning for me.......loaded up on transporter for the last time hopefully.......anyway,10 to 11 cam friday morning and i had a phone call saying....my baby was alive again!!!he explainedbasically it wasa drop lead from thebottom of the fuse box(to do with earthing) wich had basically come out!!how i dont know.....so after 4 weeks im pleased to say my babys now all cleaned up and putting a smile back on my face,and after a short essay....big thank you to you guys who commented and helped mewith suggestions etc!! ........o and i vinyled my fuel cap carbon!!
and then....all fixed and back together!!!
