To clarify - that's In Car Entertainment - not frozen water

Halo headlights

Post by gordonlear » Sat May 19, 2012 1:23 pm

Since a deer decided to modify my car for me, I have been looking at headlights. Can anyone tell me if the Halo headlights on Ebay will pass a UK mot?

Hello,

Wot, like these?

If you specify RHD (IIRC I got mine from Crazy The God) they actually have an excellent beam pattern, even with an HID kit.

Not as good as S2000, but about equivalent to NSX.

The full beam isn't quite as good as OEM, but the HIDs compansate.

Super-bright LEDs give excellent DRLs too.

Overall - recommended.

Id get one of the yanks to make you a set. Depo headlights and Infinity FX Bi-Xenons. Absolutely perfect low and high beam pattern. Expensive though with shipping etc.

Actually, I cannot remember if it was CPK or JDM now.

Think it was CrazyTheGod for the Civic's (slightly wonky & a lot crappier) ones.

Anyway, I include the H1 bulbs & looms just in case the MOT guy wants to try them with the correct blubs...
