Totally possible. You have to carefully separate the casing. I think most people put them in the oven (on low) for a few minutes or in boiling water to soften the glue that sticks the two halves together. Then pull them apart and the orange lens is easily removed.

You might want to consider obtaining some clear frosted plastic to replace the orange lenses with so it's not just the bulbs on show.

Hi thanks for your reply. Much appreciated.

What do you mean by frosted lens? Are they easily obtainable ?

Heat your oven to 200 degrees C, then turn it off. Put the light on a cold baking tray and pop it in the oven for about 5 minutes. Make sure no part of the light touches any part of the oven.

Carefully remove after 5 minutes and test how easily the lense separates from the housing. Obviously its going to be very hot, so take precautions. Pop in for longer if necessary.

I find it handy to have a sharp stanley knife at hand to cut through the stringy sealant, when pulling it apart.
