Post by Hagland-BB4 » Tue Jul 28, 2020 8:17 pm

The silver lude from pushki does it but this is a uk car and cant see any interior lights i can go to in here, not sure how pushki did it
Cheers

Can't you just connect the LED light to the courtesy lights on the door cards. That light comes on when you open the door and turns off when you close it 8)

My door doesn't have courtesy lights. Didn't really want them on all the time.

Door courtesy lights on 4g's are JDM only, as are the footwell lights (which were option only).
There is no wiring loom for them present on the UKDM's - I retro-fitted the door card lights to my UKDM (photo's in the profile thread).

You would be able to pick up a feed for them, from the fuse box in the drivers footwell (it feeds into the ICM) or the lighting ring around the ignition keyswitch. They won't fade out though, unless you fit an additional fade control circuit (nothing complicated, you could make one up or buy a kit from ebay - I haven't looked).
