Dont want to waste time and researching thousands of bulbs - I was wondering if anyone has a pair installed in their lude and can recommend any?

More specifically, I am looking for a pair that can fit our H1 slot with no-or-minimum modifications. If the headlights have to come out and modified with a hacksaw, forget that.. Not worth it to me

Yep. Prepare to spend money.
I run the Morimoto 2 stroke 2.0 in prelude and s660s high beams, low beams are his projectors retrofits in the Lude and led projectors in the s660.
In the s660 it's a 9006 bulb and it fits perfectly. Super bright but excellent spread of light.
In the 5th gen I use the H1 and it's not an exact fit but with some manipulation of the seating spring it fits fine and works flawlessly.

Morimoto have just bought out the 3.0. The led placement is designed to replicate the halogen filament exactly.

Don't bother using any other make apart from Diode dynamics.

It's not just an LED..it's the heatsink and control module. eBay led bulbs won't do anything.

Taken from my profile viewtopic.php?t=3132&start=900

Here i though id test the Morimoto 2 stroke 2.0 h1 led bulb in the high beam slot of the light and see how bright it is. No other light is on in the house, just this led bulb. Quite bulky at the rear because its actively cooled with a fan and ecu.
