Red vs Clear motegi rear brake light

Just when you thought you could sleep easy at night.
I was browsing ebay as you do - I saw this had come back up for sale again and then noticed the spoiler brake light is clear!

Mine seems to be red plastic , as do most others. Mine is also fitted poorly, seems to not quite match the spoiler screw holes (not that you can see from the pictures).
Do we reckon the clear one is aftermarket? I quite like it, but a bit of a stretch to buy an entire car just for it
