I had led spot lights in the house from ebay. They claimed to be 60 or 100 W output but they were more like night lights and all blew within 6weeks

I have an experience with the LEDs and I can tell you that the bulbs from the first link will shine like a sidelights. They won't be even close to the halogen bulbs. Cree diodes are much brighter, but still even the 7W ones are not bright enough to replace the low light bulbs. By the way, I have 7W crees on the rear/backup lights and they are quite powerful.

I have these within the high beams section
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/230750963697? ... 1439.l2649

And these are in the side of the headlights
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/260824093530? ... 1439.l2649

These are for the reverse
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/330715646903? ... 1439.l2649

I tried different combinations, but I found this one to fit my needs best. Note that my headlights are aftermarket DEPO :)

Here it is:

And here is the 7W cree on the reverse compared to the original bulb:

Actually the cree lights are much brighter than it seems on the photos. They throw the light at bigger distance.
