How many kits to fit HID Xenon in 5th gen

To be UK Road Legal you'll need to be using HID projectors and have both a lamp washing system and a lamp levelling system. At the very least, you'll definitely need to use projectors to prevent blinding people.

Also, I wouldn't bother with HID for the full beams.

That kit will provide you with the bulbs, ballasts and wiring to fit to your car. However, you'll be running HID bulbs in standard Halogen projectors, which is where it becomes a problem for other drivers.

So i would have to reto fit projectors into my existing light fittings.

Yup - that's the usual route people go down. Even then, you may have to swap them around to get through an MOT. I have projectors retrofitted to my stock headlights, but also have a standard set of headlights stashed away in case of MOT issues.

You'll need the projectors; I tried using the OEMs & there was too much scatter. The homo reflectors aren't designed for xenons.

Also, get 4300Ks like OEM use. 6000Ks are for rice boys and you can see less with that silly blue light than you can with H1s.

4300Ks look slightly bluer through a projector, because of the defracting qualities of its lens. Which is why pretenders want blue lights.

I wouldn't bother with xenons for the range lights; I don't on any of my cars. And I have to say, the S2000 has probably some of the best lights around (OEM) anywhere. It's one of the reasons I felt the necessity to upgrade all of the others.

You can retro fit some projector on your standard Prelude lights. I had these on my previous car, looked damn smart and modern.
