whats the score with the TCS on the Prelude?

there is a system for sale and i want to know about it first

any issues on an install?

is it limited to a particular gearbox?

You need a LSD and it forces missfire in engine cylinders to.kerb the power

I wouldn't bother, all the hassle of fitting it and it's rubbish.

Only time it would ever kick in for me was when pulling away from a T-junction and you got a little bit of wheel spin. It cuts the power, you head butt the steering wheel and it leave you in the path of on coming traffic.

really not worth the agro, the first thing i do when i start the car is switch it off. i've had mine kick in whilst cornering but its doesnt help you out, if anything it makes things worse.

TCS is electronic system what work together with ABS system, and not with gearbox. its work in 2 ways ether apply brake force or force engine power down.

most of time this is used as additional system together with less sophisticated LSD system,

TCS is mostly mistaking with system what should give you more traction, but true is that this system only prevent vehicle from spinning.

It would stop the wheels from spinning not the vehicle.
