Easy way of testing foglights?

Hey guys,
Bought some JDM fogs from ebay last week on a whim, however i'm off on holiday in a few weeks & i'm totally skint so gonna stick them back on again (only to look for more in a month or two... i know, i know...)
Sooo - given that i'm useless mechanically/electrically - is there an
easy way to test them to make sure they're fully functional before I re-sell them? They look in excellent condition but just want to be sure to keep myself straight...
Cheers!
John

Why not put them up for sale on here?
Just explain they're not tested.

easy way would be to get two wires put one on positive terminal one on negative terminal of your battery and put the other ends of the wire on the foglight bulb terminals ......simples!!
is this what you meant by "testing"

Hey guys - yeah was basically wanting to make sure they weren't hiding any surprises - I thought of running a couple of old bits of wire from the car battery & realized I'd have to get off the couch for that approach
So - I found a 9v battery in a drawer & thought it might just work... shazam! Turns out the 2 spade connectors on the back of the lights are the same distance apart as the terminals of the battery, not enough power to find your way in the dark, but a pale orange glow will do for me - there's one for the wiki!
As for selling, I'd thought about going through here but tbh I'm reluctant to flog them at all - they've obviously had an easy life of it & I've wanted a set for a while - the fogs are Honda but the harness looks aftermarket, was gonna get a genuine Honda switch to finish them off but don't know of there would be compatibility issues - any ideas?
Cheers,
John
