My AC doesn't work. It only blows out air but nothing cold.

Does it need re-gassing or something!? Where can I get this done from?

Help! :(

errm its not cheap. think the last time a friend of mine did this it was something like £80 :o but then that was a vaxhall senator (battle ship on wheels) and the ac system was rather large, it was actually quite funny, he paid up front then the chap filled it for it to just pour straight back out again through a hole some where on the ac rad  oh well no point in filling it again then  he had brought the ship just days before and was told it just needed a refill  best part is he only brought it cause he owned a 944 but my lude (which i just brought) peed all over his 944  he was hopping mad so brought the battleship to try and stay a step ahead. some people eh  but allas he still couldnt keep up, especially on corners   think he was just looking at bhp figures

Most garages charge between £30 an £70 for a regass if they have a decent machine like in the place we work from it will carry out a pressure and leak test before regassing if it leaks you shouldnt be charged the full wak just a test fee

Get it fixed mate! On the rare scorcher of a day we get, you'll be soooo glad you got it fixed. Especially in a black car lol.

I've never had issues with the halfords stuff, ok it's not the best and can't help you find a leak but it's a big can, the trigger bit can be reused and you get £10 back when you return an empty can. I don't believe half of what it says on the bottle but it's adds gas and lubricant to the system and only fill as per the instructions based on outside temp and it should be fine. A garage is the best option for a full test and re-gas but the halfords stuff is a lot better for just top ups or a temp fill if you suspect a leak but are short on moneys.

Go get an Integra...

Regass, if it won't hold pressure there is a leak. The company should then be able to tell you from where.
