Any 4th gen owners using these and would you recomend them. Went out last night and I had forgotten just how crap my headlights were. With the darker nights now is the time to change.

PS No silly remarks about changing to a 5th gen or I will delete your post!!!!!

are these the high beam bulbs? H7 - I've never bothered to upgrade these as you hardly get to use them. Only upgraded the H4's before.

never used the nightbreakers for main beam but when i had them fitted on the dipped beam one side burnt out after 5/6 months and the other in about 8 months so not great there but they were definatley brighter than what was in before though.

They have a warning on the packet telling you that they burn brighter but shorter. I used them as my dipped beam bulbs before I switched to projectors and HIDs and can only recommend them. The normal 4G lights really are candles in jam jars

Philips X-treme Vision +100% do the job for me. Seem to last me 1-2 years. Extremely bright and and pure 'brilliant' white colour.

Plus you can use a paperclip to burn the other filament on the dipped beam bulb when the first filament dies (on a 4th anyways). SInce the bulb is obscured within the headlamp lens, it's completely legal and will pass any MOT. That trick effectively doubles the lifespan :)

Are the main beam bulbs and dipped beam bulbs in a 5th gen Lude H7's then :?: as the Euro Car Parts website show them as H1's :?

I quess it's worth upgrading all 4 bulbs then is it :?:

Cheers ;)
