Car radio and cd player
So i reset my ECU by taking out the 10amp fuse under the bonet. My Ecu is now runnung perfect and has fixed my problems like 4ws not working and performance is back to normal [good thing]
But as a result my CD player will not turn on. Its not a stock radio, but a kenwood one which i brought recently. How do i get it to work again [turn on?] I mean it not like its even asking for a code, which i know happens when you reset your ECU! Its just dead! lol
Please help!

Have you checked the fuse on the Kenwood itself?

If the fuse is fine, while it's out, get a multimeter and check for 12 volts on the permanent and ignition switched live feeds. Will tell you if the problem is further in than the stereo.

For a Kenwood you need something like this: http://www.google.co.uk/products/catalo ... CFcQ8wIwAQ
I've had success with feeler gauges in the past.

Finally got it out, cheers guys. The only problem is the fuse was fine and intact, and also wrecked my cd player to adegree getting it out [plastic face has come off] and wont stay in properly now. Oh the joys and wonders off D.I.Y! Taking a breather now and chilling otherwise i feel like smashing the jobby out of the cd player
Will have to try the voltmeter. Im gutted really has i have had 1 problem after another and it never seems to stop
