How can I tell if my car is obd2a or obd2b

afaik all 5g ludes are obd2a

I know that but my accords a bit different from my lude, and i'm not to sure which one it is

See the pic of the stack of ECU's in my tuning guide. From bottom to top is OBD0, OBD1, OBD2A & OBD2B.

The way to tell if it is OBD2A is the harness uses (from right to left) 2 plugs, then no plug (no pins) on plug 3, then uses plug 4.
OBD2B uses the left 3 plugs only, no far right plug.
Hope that make sense.

if so i've ordered a obd2a to obd1 harness and i've made a mistake. Shocking

no your looking at the ecu not the harness as rob has said

That ECU is an OBD1 ECU.
I assume it's going into your 5th gen? If yes, the 5th gen will be OBD2A, so the harness you bought should be perfect.
