Hi all, is it worth putting a vtec controller on my standard prelude bb4? What is the advantage of a vtec controller?

"Vtec lowered to 5k"

Mine kicks in at 5k......is it not meant to? i am unsure what mods are on it as i bought it 2-3 weeks ago and not really looked into it to much, it seems to have been neglected over the last few years (98 gen 5 2.2vti)

Standard engagement varies between models and years, anywhere from 5k - 5.5k. So it could still be stock.
