Switch illumination

Are the door/window switch's on 4th gen supposed to be illuminated?
The ones on my bb4 are not, which seems a little odd. Been in the situation a few times, where i cant see the damn things, and have to fiddle about
.
I cant find any indication of any bulbs or anything.

On the facelift model the 'AUTO' switch is illuminated. Pre-facelift they don't illuminate AFAIK.
I changed the bulb in mine to a blue LED.

Maybe i could mount a small bulb behind the panel somehow, to light it up a bit.

Keep going to the scrappies. All things eventually come to those who frequent the scrappies.
I got my illuminated window switch there, and my high-level brake light and leather door inserts and all variations of rear-seat dividers with/without subwoofer in both black and grey trims, and a centre-dash tweeter unit and a delimiter chip and EL dash dimmer unit and JDM fogs.
You could probably bulb it up, but you'd only get light coming through the small gaps at the edges of the switches, and even then it'd be tricky to get an even spread of light.
