I have brought one of these as none of the new car scanning devices fit the 3pin port. Now they will all work on it I think[?] and finally we can see what the problems with my 4WS and performance are
I recommend to people.... Easy as that!

Quite a few people have tried these in the past with no success. Hopefully you have more luck with it!

Have tried one of these and they dont work on gen4.
The only thing that sucsessfully works on the 3 pin conecter is the infoboard that a member on here sells

i bought something similar to that, it never drops the connection and never needs to be updated.

Years ago, I bought a second hand Greddy Intelligent Infometer which connects to 16-pin OBDII plug. As The Lude uses a 3-pin plug, I bought one of these adapter cables. It didn't work. The Greddy Infometer was tested on an ATR and was confirmed as OK.
I discovered that there isn't much aftermarket support for the OBD2a P5M ECU in the H22A8. Most OBD2 dataloggers / diagnostics equipment are compatible with the OBD2b standard rather than the comparatively neglected OBD2a. For their communications, they use the K-line output from the ECU which OBD2a ECUs do not have.
I am now a happy owner of an Infoboard Touch.
