5th Gen Gauge Cluster - All Manual Gauges the same?

Hi,
I'm new here, picked up my prelude yesterday for a steal, JDM SiR BB6.

Have a problem with the gauges, they've been converted badly from km to mph.

My question is, are all Manual Gauges the same? Do they work fine in one another.
Reason being is I can pick up a set out UKDM 2.0 Gauges for a decent price, but will they work with my H22A?

Thanks in advance people.

They will probably work but the rev counter wont display up to 8,000 rpm like VTEC clocks will. How have your clocks been badly converted?

The Speedo fascia has been replaced with a chopped together MPH one rather than the KMH one, and it isnt accurate, reads about 12% higher than it should, plus the mileage is still in KM.

Pics would help to see what can be done.

One thing I am wondering is that does the 2.0 cluster come with all the correct warning lights? 2.0's don't have 4WS.

Good point ;) however the SiR won't have 4WS either.

Yeah the car doesn't have 4WS.
In theory, I would have thought it would work. The sender for the Rev Counter will control the needle surely? Not the gauges themselves?
Unless the plugs are different between JDM and UKDM cars?

I will get some photos after work and upload them.

It could have been a BB8 :D

The plugs and bits should be the same. Although to save any potential hassle if I were changing the clocks I would get a set of VTEC ones to be on the safe side.

What do VTEC ones normally go for 2nd hand?
Reason being is there is a set of the 2.0 clocks for sale for £18 delivered, so a cheap fix, if they worked!

I would assume next to nothing. There isnt a demand for them. I bet most get junked when cars get broken.

The only problem I could possibly see with UK clocks is the 4WS issue, as all H22 UK cars had 4WS.
