After replacing the speakers in a 4th gen.
I've got a rear one out for size, but anyone know if the fronts are the same size. (or what size they are)
Trying to get out this afternoon and haven't got time to get the door card off.
Thanks.

I fitted 5¼” Alpine SXE-1325S speakers into my front doors.
These went in without the need to cut or modify the holders.

Dont buy kicker 6.5" door speakers like i did because you will need to make spacers to mount them in. #painintheass

Honda put into our doors 5.25" but I would suggest to buy 6.5" speakers. With a little bit of work You will be abble to make some MDF spacers. You can also try to get ready built ones on some popular auctions web.
Bigger speakers will give You a lot more kickbass. Also don't buy coaxial speakers. You have dedicated room for tweeters in dash. Get component set and install one into the doors and other one into dash.
It's still not perfect for sound but enough good for most of people.

I've found my 5¼” speakers produce perfectly good sound without having to fart about trying to fit oversized ones in.
I would recommend getting some dash tweeters though to add some clarity if you haven't already got some Frenchy.
They fit behind the covers in the corner of the dash and the wiring for them should already be there.
Ignore everything I've said if you enjoy rattling your neighbour's windows wiv sum N-Dubz.

Thanks for that guys!!
Total fail anyway today, who would have thought all the local car audio shops are closed on a sat. afternoon.
I'm after component ones for the front, and replacing the tweeters anyway,
But thought co-axial would be best for the rears?
And if 5 1/4" fit with no hassle, then they will be fine, as I'm not after rattling windows,
Just replacing these.
Doing well thanks Mercutio, long time no see again.
We need to get out to some meets again soon!
