On the subject of Metal pedal covers - DESIGN OPTIONS

Post by norks27 » Tue Apr 17, 2018 11:03 pm

Whilst trying to source something for the footrest/dead pedal, I came across a civic forum post.
The company, upon request, made up a bespoke metallic cover:

The one I saw in the photo on the forum had a TypeR logo in the middle and slightly different hole layout.
The design was made for the forum members upon request.

Their website:

http://autocovr.com/

Was thinking of dropping them an email given how hard it is to source OEM stuff.

Would anyone else be interested?
I'd email them with the idea of a discount for multiple orders, if there was interest?

Just need exact dimensions of the foot rest.
I can email 5th and 4th gen details.

Ideally would like consensus on design before I see if they'll create something for the Lude.

Thoughts people?

Prelude lettering across middle in both 4th gen and 5th gen font, as in 2 versions of the plate.
Are they the same dimenions?
Or at the bottom?
Hole layout?

P.S. let me know if tacky idea :D

Lo
I've never really seen the point of snazzy pedals ?
Mostly because they are pretty much hidden from most people's view ?
Although saying that the sort after door sills are only visible when the doors are open
Only my opinion guy's :D
Cheers

It can make heel and toe a little easier I'd guess, I can't do it very well on the standard pedals so a bigger accelerator would make it much easier :D

Also consider me interested.

its not about them looking good mate its about getting a really good grip on them and adjusting them as you fit them to aid in left foot breaking, heel and toe and general ''at speed' control. for example I am now able to heel/toe easily whereas the OE placement makes it hard without boots on.
6th gen Prelude please Mr Honda. RWD 2.4 turbo lude.
