Well as a number of you have shown previous interest I am now working in collaboration with Scott @ H-Tune to sort a group-buy for Innovative Engine Mounts and Traction Bars ;-)

For those of you that are unfamiliar with Innovative mounts here are some pictures of what's on offer...

The pictures speak for themselves... Innovative Mounts make quality mounts.
Innovative Mounts wrote:Quality, Precision, and Performance are the key factors we strive for at Innovative. So much so that we offer a lifetime warranty on all of our mount kits. Our kits are easy to install, fitment is amazing, and vibration transmited to the chasis is almost non existent with our unique poly-urethane formula and design.
So straight to what you all want to know... Prices!

First of all... RRP's :

92-96 Prelude Replacement Mount Kit for H22 Engines.............. RRP $299.99 = £236.84 (inc. VAT and duty)
97-01 Prelude Replacement Mount Kit for H22 Engines.............. RRP $299.99 = £236.84 (inc. VAT and duty)
92-01 Prelude Replacement Front Mount for H-Series Engines... RRP $115.00 = £90.52 (inc. VAT and duty)
92-01 Prelude Competition Bar................................................... RRP $350.00 = £277.76 (inc. VAT and duty)
H22 Alternator Relocation Bracket.............................................. RRP $89.99 = £88.04 (inc. VAT and duty)

Now what Scott can do for us...

Depending on the total sum accumillated, Scott can offer us a variable discount on the pound sterling prices above (high-lighted in bold):

Up to £1200 worth............ 10% discount
Between £1200 - £1800... 15% discount
Over £1800....................... 20% discount

So....................................................................................................... 10% --------- 15% ---------- 20%
92-96 Prelude Replacement Mount Kit for H22 Engines................... £213.16 --- £201.31 --- £189.47 (inc. VAT and duty)
97-01 Prelude Replacement Mount Kit for H22 Engines................... £213.16 --- £201.31 --- £189.47 (inc. VAT and duty)
92-01 Prelude Replacement Front Mount for H-Series Engines.......... £81.47 ---- £76.94 ----- £72.42 (inc. VAT and duty)
92-01 Prelude Competition Bar........................................................ £249.98 --- £236.10 --- £222.21 (inc. VAT and duty)
H22 Alternator Relocation Bracket..................................................... £79.24 ---- £74.83 ----- £70.43 (inc. VAT and duty)

So, if we reach the maximum discount rate of 20% we can each be set to save...
£47.37 on 92-96 Prelude Replacement Mount Kits for H22 Engines
£47.37 on 97-01 Prelude Replacement Mount Kits for H22 Engines
£18.10 on 92-01 Prelude Replacement Front Mounts for H-Series Engines
£55.55 on 92-01 Prelude Competition Bars
£17.61 on H22 Alternator Relocation Brackets

And to give you an idea, if we manage to get 8 members to buy just the replacement mount kits, that's our 20% discount right there! ;-)

There are a few additions to the prices...

1. Hardness. The default hardness is the softest available (Please see the under-lined hardnesses with the pictures). If you require anything other than the softest it will be an additional £10 per kit and per single front mount.

2. Delivery. Whether you have just a single front mount or a full replacement mount kit and competition bar, Scott is able to have it delivered to your door for a mere £10.

3. Delivery to Scott. The only thing up in the air at the moment is Scott will need to get a quote for shipping from the States. This is obviously impossible to estimate at the moment as it's all dependant on how much is ordered. This figure will then need to be divided by the numbers, but be assured this will be divided fairly... Someone having just a front mount won't be expected to pay the same as someone buying a full kit and competition bar. I can understand that this will make it difficult to fully commit for some, but please appreciate that this will still be greatly discounted over shippinging from the States yourself (Even including the additional £10 delivery charge mentioned above). But for now, if I suggest you simply add on 50% of your most expensive item to your current total then this should covered it (It really shouldn't be that much though if this groupbuy makes the numbers I think it might ;-) ).

So who's seriously interested?

I'm sure this will be of interest to a number of members, but in order for this groupbuy to run smoothly I ask for you to only put your name on the list if you honestly think you'll go through with it. This is obviously due to the variable discount rate. Then at the end of a month I'm going to ask Scott to get his quote for shipping based on the list at the time. This will obviously give you much more of an idea of the total you'll be paying. I will be asking Scott to get this quote on the 10th September 2012. I will then give everyone another month from then to fully commit or not. So in theory this gives you two months from now to save ;-)

When the time comes you will be able to pay your money direct to Scott at H-Tune. I will put details for payment up at a later date, but you will be able to pay with credit or debit cards and also bank transfer. At the moment I have an approximate payment deadline of 31st October 2012. (This is yet to be confirmed, but won't be far off)

Scott has also provided me with a spead-sheet that I can edit as the numbers progress, so I can keep a running total and update this thread as necessary to keep you all aware of the discount level.

And please, if you're willing to go for it if it makes the 20% discount rate, but not if it only makes the 10% or 15% rate, please put you name and items down anyway as I really do think we shouldn't have any trouble making 20% ;-)

So I'll start the list (Please copy & paste the list and use the same format)...

Extreme descision indeed Rob :scaredtoss:

I was quite positive about my 85A choice, but I think if I was going to opt for another it would have been 75A over 95A.

Depending on your clutch choice as well, that's going to be one twitchy supercharged lude you have there

Ok I'm just trolling here, but is the traction bar different on the Type-S to a normal prelude. Just making sure as they had different traction bars for Base and Type-SH. :!: (or this could be just my imagination)

I honestly don't know Nitin. I'll put the question across. Feel free to do some research yourself in the meantime if you like :)

Good question Philip. I had simply assumed that the traction bar would have come with a torsion bar that bolts directly to the block (The torsion bar has the provisions for it), but as it's not pictured I will be checking. At a worse case scenario of it not being available I will be getting one made up to suit, so this option will also be available to all. I'll keep you all informed.
