4G Wind Deflector Fixings (Push Rivets)

I bought some push rivets for my wind deflectors. I only needed two, but had to buy a pack of 100. These come from Hong Kong.

I would like to offer some of these to my 4G buddies for the low price of £1.50 for four (four will allow for errors/losses). This price will cover the postage, packing and any Paypal fees.

This isn’t about me making a profit. I’m just sharing for the sake of our lovely cars. ;)

They are a perfect fit and will secure the back end of your deflector. I know some of you have this end unsecured. You do need to have the metal tab still attached to the door for these to fit.

*PM me if you would like a set. I'll keep this thread open-ended. ;)

UK Buyers only!!

New rivet compared to old. The head is larger but still looks good.

This picture shows the rear of the rivet. You can just see where the rivet has flared out to hold the deflector nice and secure.

i will take one lot of 4 off pushki - i only need one but spares will be good to have and its got to be better than the drywall screw i have in place on the passenger side deflector.

Pretty sure I had one of these in my wind deflectors, I couldn't work out how they secured, so assume I was missing a metal tab?

Got any pics? I know you like your clean, well-informed pics to help us out!

This picture shows the metal tab from underneath the deflector. Not the best picture I admit.
Without this, the rivet will have nothing to attach to.

In total, you should have 5 metal tabs attached to the door. 4 along the top edge that take screws, and one on the vertical for the rivet.

 I asked and I can't view photobucket (et al) pics in work.

I'll check out later, but sounds like I'm missing these, they still seem secure enough. I shall investigate! Still at £1.50, people should buy them as backup if one breaks. It's hardly hundreds of pounds investment like the arches or motor mount group buys.

It's one of the small details on my car that has bugged me since I bought it.
It became a priority after I removed the deflectors to smarten them up and pulled one of the rivet's head off.
