Not with Bonnet pins / catch's. They are very secure when fitted correctly. My friend has a carbon bonnet on his civic with the standard clip still. Its fine :)

Was about to say the fibre glass bonnet sounds like it could be a winner :!:

Once I get some space, probably in a couple months, I'll get a bonnet group buy setup :)

At a guess, with a 2 part mould and a single layer of carbon it would be around £300 for the pair
