*GONE* 5th Gen 2.2VTI Manual - Breaking for parts - *GONE*
Any interest whole before i break it?
'97 UKDM 5th Gen 2.2VTI 4ws in burgundy (no spoiler)
95k miles - short MOT
H22a5 Manual
decent tread on all tyres.
Lots of work done recently.
Located OX11 7TP
Bad points:
Clutch going/gone.
gearbox has a bit of backlash in the diff (been like it for at least 3 years)
exhaust blowing a fair bit
arches going rusty
boot lacquer peel
Good points:
everything works (aircon rad is past its best, but does work).
brand new rear discs/pads
brand new 300mm ATR drilled grooved discs + ds2500 pads + twin pot calipers with new seals+pistons
recent service on engine inc leads/cap/arm/rotor/coil/plugs/filters/liquids etc , valve clearances / timing set.
new rocker seal + painted black crinkle.
comes with spare 282mm discs/pads (discs only few K miles old), and some mid-worn 300m ATR standard.
Standard calipers available
not fitted - brand new aluminium rad - ebay special, 5cm thick, needs work to fit
some spare bits (thermostat, oil filter, decat not fitted etc).
Car has done 95k miles, i've owned for 5 years almost.
MOT ends end of this month - needless to say it will need a new clutch, and complete exhaust system before MOT, and even then it might begin to fail on rust/stuff. Easy fix for someone who has the space and time (i have no time sadly).
Might be OK for someone who needs lots of parts - or wants to break themselves. Can show prospective buyers videos from track day proving engine/car working as should (car was fine after track day , then i lent the car to my wife for 4 days and it was never the same again!)
Lots of pictures to follow.

If someone came gave me £500 cash they could take the whole lot.
the brake setup cost me £500 alone:
ATR calipers+carriers (200)
new discs (100)
ds2500 pads (115)
new pistons/seals/slidepins/boots/bleed nipples/covers etc (80 or so).
just remembered rear calipers have been replace a couple of MOTs ago, and also benefit from recent (last month) new slide pins/boots also

Right an update - i ended up buying another prelude. This one is still stuck on my drive and i'm going to scrap it shortly.
Can no longer be driven away as no brakes/ignition/wheels, currently sitting on 4 axle stands.
I've nicked the brakes for my new car, and the new ignition bits, but otherwise, a complete h22a5 manual 2.2vti 4ws available for all parts.
Ask me what your after - ill tell you the condition and relevant details regarding removal/shipping times - and we'll agree a price.

Cheers,
