BB4 is without TCS and sunroof. BB1 has TCS and sunroof.

Nooe, tcs was an optional extra which usually came with lsd

As is the sunroof.

The only certain difference between a BB1 and a BB4 is that a BB1 has 4WS and a BB4 does not. Both could have had any optional extra.

Indeed. In some markets, some options were made standard fit though (e.g. in the UK I think abs and sunroof were standard on bb1s?)
