Japfest 2015 Pics

Post by nucleustylzlude » Sun May 17, 2015 11:39 pm

Can't believe no-ones posted any pics on here yet. Here's mine:

I thought this stand was genius:

Image

The new 'no-wheels' look:

Image

Will it catch on? :?

This was sexy as hell:

Image

Image

Image

Really want a 4 door R34 GTT:

Image

This old skool Toyota Cresida looked mint until the owner decided to go all bososuka on it and ruin the car with the tailpipes:

Image

Image

Some $h1t going down in the back with Police and Paramedics, I'm just like...check out that S14a:

Image

Image

Mugen touches on this one:

Image

Interesting choice of wheel nut covers, unfortunately the rest of the cars John Player Special black and gold theme didn't really work for me:

Image

Love Starions:

Image

Image

Still can't beat a clean white R34:

Image

Interesting colour on this Civic, repsray or wrap? Either way, it worked:

Image

Tasty Sunburnt Orange one next to it:

Image

Meathead drifter looked a bit put out after his drift car came to a hault:

Image

Benny's new ride, coming from his 2nd gen Prelude on here, to his EG track car that joined LG on track to this absolute rarity freshly imported. A 1976 Toyota Celica GT2000 RA28...its absolutely mint:

Image

Image

Image

Image

Image

I know, much fappage indeed. :scaredtoss:

Ok, 10 points to Griffindor if you can name this rarity:

That's right, its a Celica Supra - Google it if you've not heard of it.

Image

I don't even know what this one is, but cool as feck. Reminded me of some older marks of Civics:

Image

This EP caught my eye amongst the hundreds there:

Image

Something I've never heard of, a Mazda R100:

Image

Image

However, one of a few classic RX's I do recognise, a mint lemon coloured Mazda RX4:

Image

Image

Image

The holy grail was there, I didn't know there was one in the UK, Honda NSX-R:

Image

Image

I thought this use of a Lego storage brick painted in an engine bay was genius. Not sure if its the airbox or battery cover. Suited a Nissan Cube to a 'T':

Image

And finally Preludes and the club stand, sorry if I didn't snap everyone's, I had to leave pretty sharpish midday:

Image

Image

Image

Loved this shot of JEBB4's 4th gen:

Image

Image

Charisma's lude, always looking immaculate:

Image

Sam's black beast looked as nice as ever:

Image

Image

Pete's mate (sorry forgot ya name and username) Red Type S. I do like how those seats sat. Let me know if you spot a single seat of the same trim guys:

Image

Then I snapped some of Nathan's 5th gen, who was pretty much by japfest cruising buddy on the day:

Image

Image

Image

Onto Drax's 4th gen, with some fresh Jun lippage going on. She's looking great bud, can't wait to see the seat fitted. 8)

Image

Image

Image

Danny's red turbo'd beast made it, sorry I didn't stop for a chat, at this point I was already 15 mins leaving!

Image

Image

And this is what a truck of money looks like ploughed into an engine bay:

Image

Image

Image

Snapped a few more 4th and 5th gen's as I headed to my car - sorry I don't know who each belong too, I'll do better to socialise next show / year:

If anyone has more pics, add them to this thread. :D

Cheers,

Rob

Good to see the lude stand pics 8-)

 Plenty there that I don't recognise!

Danny, your car is always so ridiculously clean and shiny, we need to get it next to shiny's atr and do a concours inspection... Loser has to lick the inside of the winners tailpipe!

Dan, when did your lips go blue? :?

So it was a shame he wasn't around to chat... Might have been able to blagg a drive at some point ;)

Love some of those classics from the 70's. Eeeeh, reminds me the days when I was driving a silver Toyota Carina, WHD 775R.
Them were t'days. Thanks for those photos, looked a fun day out.
