Well, I'm getting used to it. Not spun yet or crashed so that's a good thing. :)

I'm just working through all the "niggles" which my bro-in-law didn't bother doing owt about. Managed to fix the leaks from the roofs rubber joins with silicone grease, waterproofed it so it beads water not soaks it up, put a stock air box back in, bought a c/f aut cooling plate with built in air scoop(to fit), bought a stock front undertray (to fit) which was missing...etc,etc.

I still have to address leaks into the boot catch from the rear brake led spoiler, and work out why one of my rear lights is fogging up, and replace manky wheel center caps with new oem Honda "rage" caps or refurbish originals.

Good stuff:
It is cheaper to insure (for me) 45yrs 10yrs NCB £385 F/C
Getting a brand new soft top fitted in Feb (mine is torn in a few places - but no leaks yet)
I sacked the idea of getting a hard top until I can find the "fitting kit" (brackets) for the car at "normal" prices. Then I will look for a top.

I was thinking about doing something like that. The CF bonnet I've got is actually heavier than the OEM aluminium one :lol: :facepalm: so will swap back with something like that one day

Tim, definitely get a hard top. Feels much more refined with it on :)

I think we should get an s2k sub section on here ;) there's 4 of us now isn't there? :lol:

The hardtop is definitely still on my list, its just priorities. I cant afford £500+ for the hardtop and not be able to put it on. A "used" set of fitting brackets were just bidded on ebay to £475+. So you are looking at £1k with a top in the wrong colour.

I think loads of people think you can just buy one off ebay and pop it on. But the reality is, the fitting kits rarely come with the hard tops, and people are being greedy on ebay with the prices.

I was thinking of suggesting an S2k sub section - but thought I would get slated for such a suggestion, so I'm glad you've mentioned it first.

Have you joined up as a paid member on s2ki yet so you can use the forum properly?

I sure have ;) I've got the same username on there.

I'm seriously considering this at the moment;

Once things stop braking, my TCT is shot to bits (rattles when the car runs for more than 20 mins :cry: ) and my rear callipers are seizing up well at the moment :(
