They've changed the delivery method so they're looking at absorption rates and peaks.

i.e. take the normal pill, give blood samples all day. Next visit, have the pill which dissolves under your tongue instead and give blood samples at the same time points. There's enough drug in your system for the blood samples to pick it up and they can take concentrations and absorption rates from that to compare the delivery methods. (I've done a lot of medical studies)
