Delighted to post that I am the new owner of this little beauty:
http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/ ... 09/2959644
Pick it up on Wednesday next week
It does mean I will be selling the type S though

my new job means I just don't have the time to spend doing all the things I wanted to do the Lude and I really need to have the security of hassle free motoring that a 17 year old car can not provide
My loss will be someone else's gain??
Luckily I will stay in th Honda community

one of the main reasons I went for the S2000

Thanks all
After 10 years of Lude ownership it was time for a change! Hope I can cope with the impracticality of it

never did have anyone in the back of the Lude anyway, just wheels and tyres when they needed changing

Me no likey cos not pearl whitey.
Very nice however. Red on black is sex.
I don't see how it will be less hassle/ reliable than a lude. You will get the same mod itch.

Very nice. A wise choice when progressing from a Lude I feel.

I don't see it as 'progressing' from a Lude, more of a sideways step into a slightly different genre.
In as little as 5 years time, they'll be equally as desirable - and desired. Honest!
And advance on a Lude would be a larger or higher performance 2+2 tourer; an S2000 is only just an upgrade from an MX5 in some respects. Still nice, though. And very pretty.
