Some news of my car, it still running strong and i'm really happy with it!

I have a lot of work to do on the engine, i'm planning to do it this Spring , actually it is too cold outside to work under the car, and my back is in a really bad condition

I have to replace the LMA and i'll replace the valves seals at the same moment, as i'm burning oil too much
I have to test the compressions but i hope i'll do it this week-end.
I alos have to replace the clutch disc, actually it is not sleeping yet but it feels a little bit weak.
I'll also check the cylinders walls with my brand new usb endoscope :D

Some pictures of the pistons and the cylinder walls, the FRM liner seems to be in very good shape. :D

The pictures are not really good bud when i look directly on my PC with the USB endoscope, it is really clear :D

About the cylinders compression, i have to modify my compression tester to have the more accurate value posssible, but all i can say is that the 4 cylinders are really close each other, so it is another good new.

The pistons seems to be clean, just a little bit greasy , the culprit are the valves seals that i have to replace and it will be done as soon as possible...

Some news from my black anvil , i finally foud the time to test the compressions and they were all between 232 to 246 PSI, so i'm really happy of the result!

I still have to replace my valves seals but i'll do it as soon as possible! :D

Hello :D

These last days i've worked a little bit on my black anvil, first i've modified my rear suspension arms to correct the excessive camber.
Now the car feel handling better, it was a hard task but i'm happy of the result

after the modification:

Then i worked on my future auto climate control, by replacing the cracked polarising film of the LCD and by replacing the lights by some LED light:

Was the excessive camber 'as built' or due to damage?

The excessive camber was due to the lowering of the car ( - 30 mm if i remember correctly) , i didn't know the technical word but the rear suspension system is a " 5 arms" .( multi link is the correct word?)

With a double wishbone, the excess of camber when the car is lowered is easy to compensate with camber kit , but on an ATR, it is not as easy

Some news here!

I have worked a lot on my climate control, as i'm out of money for my engine build

So i'm waiting for some minor parts but a lot of work have been done :D

An side Mirror upgrade coming from UK:

And actually, i'm helping a friend who bought a U2Q7 gearbox and want the Torsen into his M2K4 gearbox.
So i'm doing the conversion :D and i'll keep the U2Q7 for me.
I'm planning to put Inside an ITR torsen with a 5th gear coming from a 3rd gen Prelude.

Next step soon! :D

That's quite some hybrid box you have in mind there...
What's the reason for choosing those bits in particular?
Surprised 3g box parts are interchangeable?
