The 4WD is a part-time system, similar to the CRV's. The rears only kick in when lack of grip is detected at the front.
It's a manual, and although it's a Teg, it's certainly not a sports car.
I can't find out how much power the driveline would take, but modifying or swapping the engine wouldn't be hugely difficult in theory.

I don't think that's what the car's about, though. It's more for pottering about in something a bit different. On the other hand, if used sparingly, it might even be an OK investment. I'm tempted to buy it myself now! I'm not sure why .

Well, there are a few little niggles with it, but it's straight and probably worth the money.
I'm now the second owner since the summer. I don't know what they others knew that I haven't found out yet!
It drives well and grips nicely. The brakes are good and the climate control works. Even the folding mirrors do their stuff.

I've already pranged it .... ever so, ever so slightly, getting into our bumpy track. The lowering springs, the rubber splitter and the silly BBS copies will have to go.

:? The rubber splitter will have to go? It will look silly without that on there though? Surely it will be ok once the lowering springs are off? Can't be any lower than the atr or 5th gen Front lip???

It's currently a lot lower than either of the other cars. I intend to take the splitter off first while I source the other parts. It may go back on again, but I'm coming to the conclusion that I quite like chinless cars. (I never swapped the Motegi front from the blue to the black 5G, for example.)
