Hi everyone,

Firstly I would just like to say thank you to NafemanNathan for introducing us to the Lude forum.

We are a mail order parts supplier based in Somerset. Predominantly we specialise in high quality suspension products with SuperPro polyurethane bushes, Eibach and Bilstein being the main brands we sell. We also stock;

PIAA Silicone wipers
PIAA bulbs
EVO Mk5 locking wheel bolt/nut sets
Green Cotton air filters
Wheel fitting accessories including bolts, nuts and studs

We have also recently become agents for HEL braided brake lines and Cobra exhausts.

We will be happy to offer discounts to all forum members on any of the products in our range.

I look forward to answering your enquiries,

Ross.

Hi Ross, glad to see you made it :)

For the rest of you... I've order from Ross twice now and had amazing customer service both times. The second time I'd come to realise he was actually only a two minute drive from where I work so went and collected and got chatting, hence why Ross is here now :)

TDC Automotive is the only supplier of SuperPro bushes for 3rd gen Preludes on ebay at the moment (The only brand of poly bushes available for the 3rd gen in this country I believe), but when speaking to him he was able to far better his ebay prices which made him easily the most competitive I could find.

Hope you don't mind me saying Ross, but for example he's currently offering LudeGeneration members a 20% discount on any of the items in this link...

I know a lot of guys rate the Hel brake lines as well (I have two sets myself), so those for example would certainly be worth enquiring about.

Anyway, welcome to the club Ross :)

Thank you!

Yes indeed, we would be happy to offer members free postage and a 20% discount (from the pre VAT prices) shown in our ebay listings on all the SuperPro range - Honda or any other marque.

Just to make clear, you will find the prices on our website are cheaper than the ones on ebay. However the website will charge postage. You will end up with a better deal by getting the 20% off the ebay prices. I thought I better just point this out before you think we are taking you for a ride!

Quick question:

So you've stipulated that the discount is from the pre VAT price, but from which price is the VAT calculated and applied?

Well VAT is at 20%, so it's essentially the same as just minussing 20% from the ebay prices to get the same result.

Take these at £50.52 for example...

£50.52 / 120 = 0.421
0.421 x 100 = £42.10 (eBay price exc. VAT)
£42.10 - 20% = £33.68
£33.68 x 1.2 = £40.42 (Discounted price inc. VAT)

I assume that's correct @tdcautomotive ?

That makes perfect sense Nafe and I get what you're saying about it being essentially the same (at least with small numbers), was just curious as I'm sure I've been had before where someone has simply removed the VAT, put that figure to one side and then added it back on at the end, which I think is not what is actually meant to be done  Obviously however it's applied the difference is minimal on an item priced as per your example, but as the amount you're spending increases so does the potential error, so you want to be sure ;) I'm sure you can understand that.

No offence intended with my question of course!

Yes totally correct, you will need to remove the VAT from the price, deduct 20% and then re-add the VAT. I could do a VAT paid deal however the discount would not be as much. For the item above you would be paying £42.10 not £40.42 if we simply just removed the VAT..

Sorry its complicated however you do get more discount at the end of it!
