No, only a few months, it was built as a show car not a daily driver - he needs a daily driver so when the summer comes it'll be at the shows with a for sale card in the front window! He says it's just a nightmare to drive, scrapes everywhere, has to avoid speedbumpy roads.. he said those staggered stripes leading up to roundabouts sound like they are smashing the car to bits, but when it's sat still, it looks sweet!

At least he knows the car's rust-free... It's all knocked off

Still don't understand pure show cars. What's the point in having a car you can't drive?

It must be my Asperger's - unless it's stock, full-show car effect or hellafunctional, I think it just looks retarded on the street; you cannot mix n' match. And pre-72 numberplates on an '82 is like putting leaded lights in a Le Corbusier building.

...so far he's had 2 tickets for those number plates - both from the same copper!

I guess he prefers the look of black plates on his car over the look of £30 in his wallet..

personally i think most look utter jobby, but why not use a tube in the tyre to stop it from leaking or coming off the rim?
