I used a can of this when I rebuilt my engine a couple of years ago to quickly spray any areas that I wouldn't normally be able to get to like under engine mounts and shock towers. It starts off as a thin waxy oil and dries to a sticky gum and has lasted really well. I wanted some more for when I replace my anti roll bar and remove the old mounts - and I've just found it for really cheap! Even including postage you can buy 3 for the same price as 1 on ebay.
Ideal to have handy if you're removing something to just spray it all over the hidden areas of untreated metalwork, and on nuts and bolts (not the threads tho) to stop them going rusty. I used the black and that's what I'd recommend as it's probably thicker and tougher than the clear.
