Hi we just bought an other lude for bit for are track car it has good service history. 10000 miels ago it had new timeing belt and crank shaft oil seal. Its jdm. When u start it oil pisses out onto to downpipe. What seal would that be. How much would a garage fix it for. It has 3 months tax and 6 month mot. So if i was not much to fix i would drive it on the road for few months

Oil cooler seal, sits behind the bit that the filter screws onto.

Easy job just takes a while. Drain oil, drain coolant, remove oil filter, take out big bolt that the oil filter screws onto (need a big socket). Pull oil cooler away, remove broken oil o ring, clean faces, replace oil ring, put back together.
