Ok cool more annoying cos my younger brothers girlfriend aged 18 bought a house out right as she got her dad's business and sold it

Buying outright is what it's all about these days.

As others have said though, just save.

All this rent to own, equity share, etc. is dogshit. Start filling shoeboxes and either buy outright or get a mortgage. Once you get one paid off start looking at another.

Rent is cheap at min so could buy and rent it out, see ya point just feel like crap knowing someone in your house that youve bought

Bought my 1st house for £16,000 spent £5k renovating it, 9 years later sold it for £84,000.
