loose it or keep it?

so got some time off work and was planning some weight saving other than the aircon and resonator is there anything i can remove to help save weight and tidy up the bay? :?:

keep aircon. ditch all the oem sounddeadening. the two rubber matts under the front foot wells and the board/carpet in the boot and the spare wheel/tools.

The only time i honestly ever felt a difference from weight saving was when I had totally stripped the interior ready for fresh sounddeadening to go in. Most of that was down to the noise though I'm sure.

If your car is in any way a daily keep the aircon imho.

Aircon get shot off. Cruise control bye bye. Relocate battery to boot.
Abs bye bye useless and if you can live with it powersteering......
Sunroof weighs, weld in a plate and blend....

a/c works really well :) and yes its my daily :)

didnt think about the abs ;)

and i think il keep the power steering lol

gunna loose the heat matt of the bonnet etc and il check the foot wells

if its your dailly dont bother mate. the difference is so marginal at that level as no be none and all you are doing is taking comfort away from the car. Iv had 4 5ths and the nicest one to daily was the one I did nothing to at all :lol:
