More android help :s

Post by macky_6 » Sun Jan 19, 2014 1:03 pm

Hey all,

After a bit more knowledge about android connectivity. I have a Sony Xperia tablet and just got the Sony Xperia phone. I have some music on the tablet and some apps, plus I have some music/apps on the phone. So how can I transfer between the two?

Tried to read up on it but most advice is between pc and phone/tablet. One piece of advice I did come across said that I would need an sd card to do this?

I am from an Apple background so usually connecting the 2 via usb would sync the pair. Tried this but nothing happens when I connect them... Pfft!

I no longer have a PC so I cant use that as a medium.

Help :-?

Install 'es file explorer' on both, get them on the same wireless network, and you can send files from device to device dead easy.

Happy chappy :)

Thanks Graham 8-)

There could be another 1000 questions though :?

I guess if you have used only one operating system all your days it is gonna take a while to get used to another. Already so many wee things I like about Android 8-)

I like it when devout Apple users finally come around to the Android way of, um, telephones..

Haha, Apple does have it's good points. The fact that you can take any product to an Apple store to get it fixed is pretty cool. Their customer service at the shops is excellent. Just the fact that they dictate to you about what you want on their products is ridiculous. The price of their stuff is off the scale too

I paid £350 for the Xperia z1 tablet. Performs every bit as good as the ipad. Spent £30 on a 64G memory card so now I have a 100G device for <£400. Equivalent ipad: £800  Not a chance!!!

Fair enough I'm typing this from another overpriced bit of kit but you'd have to be some sort of rhubarb to spend that much on a tablet
