Err, I thought the solenoid and spool valve generally referred to the entire unit, rather than breaking it into its individual components. If I'm totally wrong please enlighten me! :D

So you know that it's used incorrectly as a general term in reference to the entire unit, yet you're confused by the question asking for clarification on whether he means an individual component or all of it? :? :lol:

The spool valve is the main unit, the solenoid is merely the cylindrical electronic switch that is bolted to the top. I'm assuming the OP wants the entire unit, and would be a but miffed if just the cylinder was to arrive in the post.

Ahh, it all makes sense now! :lol: I didn't realise Honda designed it in such a modular fashion, despite being on that page before ordering a new gasket only 2 hours ago... :suicide:
