Do I sell the Lude or do I store it..??

Post by Rudelude » Fri Jun 13, 2014 11:33 pm

It's now confirmed I'm moving to the states, nr NY. Jersey to be specific. At least 2 years duration.

Having just bought the lude and with it being low mileage, full honda history, no rust...blah blah blah...
I don't really want to sell it... I spent a years waiting for an example like this to pop up.

Does anybody have any ideas on a cheap storage solution??
And any advice on storing one away for a few year...????

Such a beauty, I can't part with it...as I know I'd struggle to find one in this condition if I came back to the UK in
a few years. "Confused I am"....any thoughts appreciated...

There's a place down the road from me called premier storage
http://www.premiervehiclestorage.co.uk/ really great guy called Clive who has a massive passion for cars, they have over a 120 cars stored and offer many different options all the way up to a cocoon with the air filtered and temperature controlled, might be worth a call,
If you do ring tell him dan at viper valets recommended him as we do a lot of cars for him, there's a original mr2 in there with 15 miles on the clock

Just had a quick look a basic dry storage with no maintenance is £20pweek minimum 10 weeks so surely could get it for less for longer period, £25 per week gets the car ran up to temperature battery conditioned and a few other bits of general making sure she runs properly
