Just remove the plastic scuttle cover under the windscreen, there are two drain holes at each end, just poke someting down them to clear out if they are blocked.

Re oil, my local Honda garage use Shell Helix 10w40, so that's what I'm using.

Having had loads of Hondas over the years, the best oil is Redline 10W40, but it's very expensive at about £70 per oil change!

Car runs smoother, quieter, cooler, cleaner, faster, etc. I've done lots of tests and reckon it's worth the extra – also you get squeeze longer change intervals so it's not actually that much more costly.

It's made from polyol ester base stock which is far better than conventional fully synthetic oil, and has a better detergent package too.

No connection with anyone selling it, but I used to work for a rival oil company and we knew how good it was!

Any semi synthetic 10W 40 will do the job. I sling Castrol Magnatec in my 5th.

Same as Vtecmec, I use Helix 10w40.

But why not ask oilman, aka titillating Tim.

Ive started using good old Castrol GTX 10w-40(semi) - £4 per litre from Eurocarparts. Good for older engines and 25 percent better sludge reduction. Got to say it seems to be good for my lude but its about 150,000miles.

Hey man , that sucks! Do you know if it getting a spark? Could be the distributor, as far as I know they can go suddenly. Maybe some of the other guys that it has happened to can give conformation on that.

Does sound like distributor - mine went suddenly - car died and engine would turn over but wouldnt start - replaced the distributor and all was well.
TD60U is the part number you need.
