As said, that's true, BUT, providing it's not rounded off like an egg, Worst case scenario you can do a cambelt change etc and then actually spot weld it and worry about it/finding another engine in 60-odd thousand miles.
Nowt to lose.

Hi guys. Thanks for all the kind welcomes. Not been able to look at the prelude yet due to logistical issues (the car trailer has broke lol). I did however manage to find my photobucket but unfortunately, it appears I didn't take any pictures of my previous prelude...just videos. I'll stick some pics up of my previous motors too for anyone who is interested :-)

Most recently my rx8

Which was my daily when I had this (pictures from the ad from when I bought it)

Them there was this...my BB4 (excuse the videos...I was young and stupid)

Before the prelude there was this (which was completely stock)

The guy I sold that to crashed it a week after. Finally there's the car which started it all off...The ek9

After I'd owned it a few years

Final spec of that was:

Carbon bonnet, boot and front wings (although no real pics)
OEM alloys refurbished and painted phoenix yellow
Seeker v2 spoiler
Stripped interior with bride front seats with drivers on feels lowered rail
Takata harnesses
Welded in roll cage
Lexan windows all around apart from windscreen
Tein height and damping adjustable coil overs
All bushes replaced
300 mm front brake conversion with willwood 4 pot calipers
B20 vtec conversion which got rebuilt with lower compression pistons, uprated con rods and bearings, block brace and baffled sump. Head got rebuilt with dual valve springs, new valves, stem seals and upgraded camshafts with vernier pulleys and upgraded timing belt.
Gt3076r turbo with custom pipework and intercooler
Air con and power steering removed and steering rack replaced with non power steering model
Gearbox replaced with s80 from 96 spec dc2 and rebuilt using mpower parts to give custom ratios. Diff replaced with kaaz item.

There's loads more which I can't remember off the top of my head (I sold this around 4 years ago).

I miss that car. Been trying to trace down who owns it now as I want it back lol
