big power gains
Evening all
My lude is going into a proper garage as of Monday for a while, so while it's there I'll have access to a lift, engine cranes etc...
So im wondering what I can do to a 2litre engine (f20 I think)
To get big gains, been told by people to get new cams, forged internals
Ideas?

I don't think you will gain much from cams on a 2.0, best bang for your buck is fit a H22 to it. Engines and gearboxes go for around £500.
An option I was going to go for before my 2.0 was written off was the turbo route, 2.0 have iron sleeves so is a great base to bolt a turbo kit on.

300bhp will probably be impossisble on a stock F20 engine, I was shooting for 240-250bhp on the stock engine. Maybe with some major engine work more power could be possible. I wanted to turbo, as I believe its never been done on a 2.0 Prelude.
You could turbo a H22, but you will have to forge and that build would cost you £5,500 all in. Unless you run really low boost. The other option is build a H22 N/A screamer, a member on here got around 275bhp on a N/A H22.

Ditch the induction kit they will lose power normally, fit an OEM dual chamber airbox from any 1999+ 2.2, or any JDM 2.2 5th gen and fit a good panel filter into it (such as a K&N). Then get an uprated manifold, exhaust and decat.
Another option is make it faster in the corners rather than a straight line, my 2.0 on Tein Superstreets handled epic, maybe some bigger brakes too?

Judging by the induction kit you have fitted, its too short and won't be doing the engine and favours power wise.
