So the last couple of days my car has started, at random intervals, coughing up clouds of dark smoke. I just drove the misses from my work to her house, a 5 minute drive, the car was cold, no Vtec used, no chance either on the drive up the hills. When I stopped on her road it started bellowing out for 5-10 seconds then nothing. When I stopped at the drive I revved the engine to see if more would come but nothing.
I checked the oil Sunday and the levels were perfect and the oil still clean, only put in a couple of months back. I've messaged my mechanic mate to ask him to have a look over it, I just thought I'd see if it's a common fault and there maybe an easy route cause?
Congratulations to vtecmec for winning May/June's Lude Of The Month, with his DIY Turbo BB1 build.
