As the Honda / Shin Etsu stuff sells for about £26.00, I thought I'd give this a go first as it's only £2.47:

I'll update this thread to let people know if it sorts my window issue out.

I've now fixed my slow juddering windows. Today I took the passenger side door apart and had a feel around inside the door. I used the above Carlube Silicone Grease in the rubber tracks inside the door which are mostly obscured, out of sight. This was also applied inside the rubber tracks along both the A pillar and B pillar. You need to use your finger tips for this so it helps if you've got small fingers. If anyone else is gonna do this, it might be worth getting a young kid to do this bit for you. I also used Comma Spray Grease on the articulation points of the metal moving bits. Lastly I cleaned up the inside surface of the door skin and side impact protection bar with spray wax (to satisfy my OCD tendencies).

The driver's side window wasn't as bad so I just applied the Carlube Silicone Grease in the A pillar and B pillar rubber tracks without taking the door apart.

I'm happy to say that it's now sorted. No more slow windows, no more juddering and no more squeals. Both windows are a hell of a lot faster than before, it's as if I've got new electric window motors fitted!

So, if you're thinking about buying the Shin-Etsu Silicone Grease recommended by Honda for about £26, I highly recommend you try Carlube Silicone Grease for less than a tenth of its price.

They're OK. I think the cheap £1 shop spray wax is too thin to clog them up anyway.

Think I was a bit too generous with the Comma Spray Grease as it's now leaking out of one of the door drain holes over my Motegi side skirt.
