Another smiley we need!

drokking. Aweful. Is all I can say about that. They had some of that Skrillex on the radio the other day, was just noise. And I mean I'm pretty open with my music taste, but that stuff wasn't music.

Running the risk of sounding like a total elitist music gentleman's sausage but Skrillex, Doctor P, Borgore, Flux Pavillion and all these other new 'dubstep' artists aint even where it started. Silly chainsaw yoyoyo tearout music. This is more of the original dubstep sound, maybe where the scene should have stayed?

Around 2002 I think, bit of an advancement from garage/2 step:

2006, more recent, more familiar 140 snare/clap/bassline makeup:

Major breakthrough record, got quite a lot of attention thanks to MaryAnne Hobbs in 2006 (note Skream is now a Radio 1 DJ )

Anyway, just my two pennies on that genre of music. :?
