Crank pulley holding tool

A lot of the ones on ebay, are the wrong size. Needs to be 50mm if I remember right.

well all i can say is ive done it that way like ten times now with no damage at all, now i think about it i didnt think it through at all just blindly did it on one persons advice but it does seem to work fine, no damage or anything.

It will depends how tight the crank bolt is, mine was so tight it split the crank pulley with the tool

. I doubt the conrods etc would have stood up to it.

This is true, I bought one from eBay that was 'meant' for my car, it was too small. In the end, I got a hefty impact gun to whip the bolt off..
