Has anyone used the obx itbs as they seem quite cheap if there any good

I've got them but haven't used them yet. As far as I can tell they are ok but I had to port the runners as the casting marks were hideous.

Yea ive heard that the casting is pretty rough on the inside.

But apart from that hows the fitment. Everything line up ok. The mechanism is nice n smooth etc

I can't fault them other than that. I'd hope to have it running early next year but I'm waiting on a loom and 5 weeks in newzealand over Xmas is slowing things down.

What spec is your engine? The obx only come in 52mm which is quite large and best suited to a hi spec engine, 50mm bodies would more suit a mild spec. But I don't see any problem with fitting some kind of restricter if needed.

Phil has the set of OBX itb's i had they are pretty good but the Yanks suggest you pull them apart and put them back together with some loctite
