Liking the wheels

Makes me want to get a set for the civic, but I think I need to get the Jordan (4x100) wheels :?

And love the rocker cover colour too 8-)

Thanks for the positive comments on the alloys - I was looking to do them in a bronze or gunmetal but decided to use the silver upol i had in the cupboard turns out that was a perfect match to OEM Honda Satin Silver so refurb was easy.

Not so good news on the rocker cover as one of my pals picked it up to have a look at it and squished the paint at the front corners- Ive tried touching it in with another few coats but its not wrinkling its just staying flat :( cant be arsed doing another one so its going to go be used as it is

nah i wasnt that bothered at the time as it looked ok- it was only when i had a closer look the next day i saw the paint was flat - tried to fix it - made it worse and then the can gunked up and wouldnt spray - so ive given up - you got to know when to walk away

cheers mart - ive given up golf in favour of tinkering with ludes

im getting ready to take the engine and gearbox out of the grey lude - plan to do atr clutch, clutch mc, jun copy flywheel, es/poly mounts, manual tensioner conversion and timing belts, fit new rocker cover, cam end cap, gasket kit and and clean up engine bay.
might also look at some A8 cams depending on what i see when i lift the rocker cover ;)
still keeping the BB1 very OEM and the BB4 is going out on track.

couple of pics of both ludes

Just caught up on this thread, great commitment and great work, and completed in a short scale... Well done... Great job with the wheels too.. The blue rocker cover looks fresh, You got something special to drive now...the older the ludes get the better they look! And the rarity factor adds value... I'm still shocked that they are so cheap compared to their cousins the civic and INtegra.
